Native Plants
Why Use Native Plants?

Using plants that are native to a local area is
important in maintaining a healthy, diverse ecosystem.
In addition to requiring less maintenance than
non-natives, native plants offer provide the best
support for local wildlife. But over the years, countless
species of exotic plant species have been introduced
into North America and now seriously threaten both
our native plants and the wildlife that depend on them
to survive.

play in the health of our environment, and how you
